CONCEPT TO COIN

The design phase is not something we rush through to get an order into production. We take time to review existing artwork, explore concepts, refine individual elements, and consider how the final design will translate into a physical coin.
A successful digital image is only the beginning. Each design must also account for the practical requirements of metalwork, enamel, relief, plating, and manufacturing.

OUR WORK

ABOUT US

Foundry 29 is a New Jersey-based custom challenge coin business founded by Vinnie and rooted in Trenton’s industrial heritage. We work with fire departments, law enforcement agencies, emergency responders, businesses, and organizations to bring custom coins from initial concept through finished production.

Vinnie volunteers with the Signal 22 Canteen Unit, which supports first responders during emergency calls. Foundry 29’s first projects included challenge coins for Signal 22 and Hamilton Township’s volunteer fire companies. Those projects helped establish our hands-on approach to artwork development, manufacturing requirements, and the quality of the finished coin.
